Hello world, I'm about to join you again.
David supervised evacuation of the apartment this morning. I found my long-missing red earring between some sofa seats, have left the verdant pot of mint to the new owners, and didn't even give a backward glance on my little, loved apartment and the gardenias I'd nurtured like babies. The departing lover lingered, perhaps giving the blonde neighbour who had entertained him on my long nights working, an extra ... something.
And Now, I am the OWNER OF NOTHING - except trunks of possibilities, an airline ticket and a very small, very light case. Oh, and my mac and my canon - but those are part of me, anway.
Am I allowed to hug myself? I just did!
